Satlab A/S develops and manufactures advanced radio systems for highly embedded applications and space systems. We are looking to expand our team in Aalborg, Denmark with an electronics production assistant, starting as soon as possible.

The majority of our PCBs and assemblies are performed by local sub-contractors, which we afterwards customize, quality inspect and test in-house. The electronics assemblies consist mainly of small pitch SMD parts where attention to detail is key.

Your tasks will be:

• Incoming inspection of parts produced by sub-contractors.
• Customization of products to customer configurations and production touch-ups.
• Conformal coating of electronics assemblies.
• Testing of units, including test documentation and packaging.
• Production and test assembly of ground station parts.
• Participation in qualification testing of new products.
• Participation in production planning and execution thereof.
• Participation in the development of automatic test procedures.

What we expect from you:

• Experience with high-quality manual soldering and inspection of SMD components.
• A keen eye for detail during assembly and inspection.
• SMD soldering certification to either ECSS or IPC is a plus.
• Relevant work experience from a similar function is a plus.
• Experience with product testing and qualification is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and the ability to adapt to varying assignments in a small team.
• English on a professional working proficiency level.
