Satlab A/S develops and manufactures advanced radio systems for highly embedded applications and space systems. We are looking to expand our team in Aalborg, Denmark with an Electronics Production Assistant, starting as soon as possible.

The majority of our PCBs and assemblies are performed by local sub-contractors, which we afterwards customize, quality inspect and test. The electronic assemblies consist mainly of small pitch SMD parts, which requires a keen eye on detail.

Your tasks will be:

• Incoming inspection of parts produced by subcontractors.
• Customization of products to customer configurations and production touch-ups.
• Preparation of components for production.
• Cleaning and conformal coating of electronic assemblies.
• Testing of units, including test documentation and packaging.
• Production and test assembly of ground station parts.

What we expect from you:

• Experience with soldering and inspection of SMD components.
• SMD soldering certification to either ECSS or IPC is a plus.
• Relevant work experience from a similar function is a plus.
• Experience with product testing and qualification is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and the ability to adapt to varying assignments in a small team.
• English on a professional working proficiency level.

The place of work is Aalborg, Denmark. The position is expected to be filled during Q2 2023.
